Priority to meet prerequisites, needs to be met with C- or better to meet GWAR requirement.
SOC 311 - Classical Sociological Theory Units: 3
Take if you meet prerequisites and/or are also taking SOC 300 or SOC 305 concurrently. Must be taken by 2nd semester to graduate on time.
GE C2 - Student’s Choice of C2 Humanities: Languages Other than English course - 3 units Units: 3
Units may vary between 3-4 units depending on language chosen. Also, double-counts with C2. Take this course if still needed. Otherwise, take a Free Elective.
Recommendations/Notes
- This two-year roadmap assumes that all GE’s and Lower Division Major Requirements (SOC100 - Introduction to Sociology, SOC201 - Social Problems, SOC202 - Introduction to Research Methods, and SOC201/202 - Statistics) have been completed prior to transfer.

Enroll if you took SOC 311 1st semester. If not, take SOC 311 this semester & SOC 315 3rd semester to graduate on time.
SOC 321 - Research Methods in Sociology Units: 3
This course must be taken by students’ second semester in order to graduate in 4 semesters.
POLS 150 - American Political Institutions Units: 3
Take this course if still needed. Otherwise, take a Free Elective.

Take SOC 332 or SOC 334 to double-count with UDGE-D. SOC 332 also fulfills the Multicultural Perspectives Requirement.
