(For students completing Early Childhood Education AS-T degree)

Students who have completed the approved Early Childhood Education AS-T Transfer Degree program are eligible to graduate in 60 units. The exact pathway to complete the major will also depend on the specific AS-T curriculum. The CI Early Childhood Studies major has been modified to ensure AS-T students graduate within 60 units. As a result, it is imperative that students meet with the major advisor and/or an academic advisor for assistance with following the Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC).

To meet this goal, students should review the applicable Academic Roadmap. After applying to and being admitted to CI, students should review their CI Academic Requirements Report (or CARR) and Degree Planner, and may contact Academic Advising and/or a faculty advisor for assistance with following the Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC).

Students should be aware that if they elect to change majors or add an additional degree objective, such as an option, minor, or second major, they will likely exceed the 60-unit guarantee. If they choose to do this, students may seek help from an academic advisor regarding planning how to incorporate any additional required units/courses.
