ANTH 311 - Cultural Heritage and Resource Management Units: 3 Three hours seminar per week Recommended: Junior Standing Explores the institutional practices and policies surrounding cultural heritage and cultural resource management. Introduces themes and methods as an interdisciplinary field of study. Examines what heritage and resource management is, how they are managed, and questions who shapes and controls heritage and cultural resources and for what purpose. Focus of practices in the United States but also includes international context and perspective. Includes tribal perspectives, economics, sustainability, climate changes, and ethical considerations regarding cultural sensitivity. Graded: Letter Grade
