IT 430 - Introduction to Computer Networks and Network Management

Units: 3
Two hours lecture and three hours lab per week
Prerequisite(s): COMP 221  / IT 221  and IT 421 
Introduction to computer networking with significant laboratory work where students will learn to apply conceptual knowledge to practice in understanding, configuring, managing, and securing computer networks. Topics include network topology, routing procedures, message multiplexing and process scheduling techniques.
