NRS 413 - Nursing Care of Adults II Lab Units: 4 Twelve hours lab per week Prerequisite(s): NRS 312 , NRS 313 , and NRS 306 Corequisite(s): NRS 412 This clinical course focuses on adult patients experiencing acute and chronic health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Emphasis is placed on providing patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, informatics, safety, communication, leadership, and professionalism for achievement of optimal patient outcomes. The student will be able to learn the role of the nurse in an interdisciplinary team within a complex health system. The lab practicum provides the student an opportunity to apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes in a simulated environment. Lab Fee $140 Graded: Crd/No Crd
