BLST 375 - Afro-Latinidad in the Americas (cross-listed as CHS 375)

Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4)
Examines the intersections of Blackness and Latinidad(es) throughout the Americas. It explores themes of colonialism, resistance, revolt, migration, solidarity, and cultural production among Afro-Latinas/os in Latin America and in the United States.
