ART 395 - Book Arts Units: 3 Six hours activity per week Prerequisite(s): ART 105 and ART 106 and ART 108 and ART 109 Explores the process of designing and creating one-of-a-kind and small edition handmade artist’s books. Covers traditional and experimental approaches to book-making using a variety of hand-produced mediums such as drawing, printmaking, collage, stamps, stencils, photocopying, along with digital imagery and text. Projects address a variety of unique book structures, including zines, modified accordion books, hand-sewn case-bound structures, and sculptural books. Repeat 2 times up to 6 units Graded: Letter Grade
