HLTH 101 - The US Health Care System

Units: 3
Three hours lecture per week
Covers the conceptual basis for the health care industry, the structure of the US health service systems and their functions, and operations and service deliveries to populations and individuals. Discusses the issues with the US health care system and other countries’ health care systems and the efforts in health care reform.
