SPAN 499 - Capstone in Spanish Units: 3 Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Senior Standing in Spanish Major and Consent of Instructor Recommended: Successful completion of all required 300-level Spanish classes (301, 302, 310, 315, 316) and at least two 400-level Spanish classes. Seminar-style course on a specialized topic related to Hispanic literature, culture, linguistics, or translation. As the culminating experience of the course, students complete a substantial academic project related to the topic. Students also engage in career development activities including résumé preparation and mock interviews. Graded: Letter Grade GenEd: Language Graduation Requirement(s): Language with C- or better
