POLS 334 - Peace Studies Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Examination of theories of and issues in the interdisciplinary field of peace and conflict studies. In-depth analysis of the concepts of peace and war, causes of conflict and war, achieving negative peace, building positive peace, and in-depth case studies in nonviolence.
