GE 3B - Student’s Choice of GE Area 3B Humanities: Languages Other than English course - 3 units Units: 3
Units may vary between 3-4 units depending on language chosen. Also, double-counts with 3B. Take this course if still needed. Otherwise, take a Free Elective.
SOC 300 - Social Inequalities Units: 3
SOC 305 - Writing in the Social Sciences Units: 3
Priority to meet prerequisites, needs to be met with C- or better to meet GWAR requirement.
SOC 311 - Classical Sociological Theory Units: 3
Take if you meet prerequisites and/or are also taking SOC 300 or SOC 305 concurrently. Must be taken by 2nd semester to graduate on time.
Complete one of the following:
UDGE 2 - Student’s Choice of UDGE - 2: Mathematical Concepts - Quantitative Reasoning course - 3 units Units: 3
UDGE 5 - Student’s Choice of UDGE - 5: Science course - 3 units Units: 3
Recommendations/Notes
- This two-year roadmap assumes that all GE’s and Lower Division Major Requirements (SOC100 - Introduction to Sociology, SOC201 - Social Problems, SOC202 - Introduction to Research Methods, and SOC201/202 - Statistics) have been completed prior to transfer.
- Schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor in the Academic Advising Center
