The Master of Public Administration (MPA) at CSUCI prepares students for thriving careers in public service and for augmented civic engagement. The program requires 36 credits to complete and can be pursued full time (9 credits per regular semester) or part time (3-6 credits). Coursework focuses on knowledge, skills, and expertise key to lifelong professional development in local, county, state, and federal agencies, as well as nonprofit organizations and the public sector components of for-profit entities. Students without at least one year of professional experience in a public or nonprofit agency will complete MPA 692 - Public Internship course.
