The Bilingual Education minor prepares students who want to become P-12 bilingual teachers for application to a credential program. The minor includes all pre-requisite courses for the California Bilingual Authorization offered at CSUCI. The minor offers a comprehensive understanding of bilingualism and biliteracy, cross-cultural dimensions, teaching and assessment practices, and the history, theory, research, and policy of bilingual education. All courses need a C or better to pass.
