Roadmap Transfer - 2 year: Business, B.S.


Roadmap provided by Program. Changes due to new GE pattern.

Year 1 - 30 units


Fall Junior - 15 units


  • Units: 3
  •  Must complete all lower division major requirements with a C- or better. Foundational class needs to be completed before taking any additional upper-division courses, except BUS 310 and MGT 326. Should complete, BUS 309, BUS 310, and MGT 326 together, if possible. 

  • Units: 3
  • Foundational class needs to be completed before taking any additional upper-division courses in the major. Must complete BUS 110 and BUS 111 with a C- or better. Junior standing and successful completion of the GE Golden Four. Foundational class needs to be completed before taking any additional upper-division courses, except BUS 309 and MGT 326. Should complete the following concurrently: BUS 309, BUS 310, and MGT 326 together, if possible. Will also satisfy the GWAR requirement (must earn a C- or better).

  • Units: 3
  • Must be at Junior Standing and have Golden Four Completed. Foundational class needs to be completed before taking any additional upper-division courses, except BUS 309 and BUS 310. Should complete the following concurrently: BUS 309, BUS 310, and MGT 326 together, if possible. 

  • Units: 3
  • Take this course if still needed. Otherwise, take a Free Elective.

  • Units: 3
  • Also fulfill Multicultural Perspectives requirement

    Recommendations/Notes

    • This two-year roadmap assumes that all GE’s and Lower Division Major Requirements have been completed
    • Attend Major Fair (First week of October)
    • Schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor in the Academic Advising Center
    • Foundational courses (BUS 309, MGT 326, BUS 310) must be completed before taking other upper-division major courses
    • Please consider taking FIN 300 and ACCT 300 separately
    • If you have any transfer credit from a four-year university, please scheduled an appointment with your Faculty Advisor, Dr. Dylan Cooper (dylan.cooper@csuci.edu), to determine if any of those courses fulfill any graduation requirements. 
    • Please contact your Academic Advisor or Faculty Advisor if you are interested in pursuing one of the Business options.
    • If you have any transfer credit from a four-year university, please schedule an appointment with your Faculty Advisor to determine if any of those courses fulfill any graduation requirements.

  • Student’s Choice of HIST - US History course. Units: 3Choose one: HIST 270, 271, 272, 275. CHS 350. If US HIST has been met change to Free Elective.
