Lower Division Major Requirements - 9-10 units
Students must obtain a grade of C- or better in each of these courses to apply them to the Economics Major. Upper Division Major Requirements - 19 units

Students must obtain a grade of C- or better in each of these courses to apply them to the Economics Major. Note: ECON 497 may not be taken to meet the requirements of the International Economics option. International Economics Option - 17 units
Complete a minimum of two courses in the same foreign language or equivalent. [for example, SPAN 101 and 102] ASL courses will not be accepted. Note: This requirement represents one additional course beyond the CI foreign language requirement. - Foreign Language I Units: 4

To graduate, students must complete 120 units minimum (40 units must be upper division), including the following General Education (GE) and Graduation Requirements : - Additional lower division GE Area A-E requirements not met within major
- American Institutions Requirement
- Language Requirement (C- or better grade)
- Multicultural Perspectives (MP) Mission Pillar Requirement
- Nine units of Upper Division General Education (UDGE) courses, one each in Areas UDGE-B, UDGE-C, and UDGE-D
- Free electives as needed to meet minimum units for graduation
