Provides students with strategies to help them make sense of our information-saturated world. Students will critically assess information and differentiate the various perspectives of information seekers and information providers. Students will explore issues such as surveillance, surrogates, privacy, information-seeking behavior, information control, intellectual property, digital democracy, and emerging information communication technologies.
