ECS 600 - Research Methods in Early Childhood Education Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies program Introductory course to major research methods employed in early childhood education. Foundational knowledge and skills presented that needed to design, implement, and analyze research relevant to the field. Topics include research design, literature review, data collection, analysis, and ethical considerations specific to early childhood education. Designed to enhance students’ ability to read and interpret journal articles as part of the graduate program. Graded: Letter Grade
