GEOG 105 - Environmental Issues in Geography (Cross-listed as ESRM 105)

Three hours lecture per week
Introduction to basic geography concepts and environmental issues. Explores how the environment influences human activities and how humans impact the environment. Topics include population distribution, cultural patterns, and land use, with an emphasis on spatial awareness through cartographic principles, GPS skills, and hands-on experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This course is not open to ESRM majors.
