NRS 520 - Advanced Concepts of Health Across the Lifespan I Units: 2 Two hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): NRS 500 and NRS 502 and NRS 504 with grades of C or better Introduces nurse practitioner students to pathophysiology, presentation, preventative health maintenance, differential diagnoses, and management of common conditions encountered in primary care settings across lifespan. Course will also prepare students to meet changing needs of health care system in providing quality, cost-effective care to populations with an emphasis on vulnerable, culturally diverse individuals, families, communities, and populations including LGBTQ, migrants, and veterans in a wide variety of settings.
