MATH 329 - Applied Statistics for Business and Economics Units: 3 Three hours lecture in the lab per week Prerequisite(s): MATH 101 or MATH 104 or MATH 105 and Junior Standing and successful completion of Golden Four GE Areas (A1, A2, A3, B4) Applications of modern statistical methods used in business analysis and economics, especially in experimental data evaluation and decision-making contexts. Topics include: sampling, probability, various distributions, correlation and regression, statistical inferences, hypothesis testing, problem-solving and the consequences to underlying economical systems.
