ESRM 100 - Introduction to Environmental Science and Resource Management Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Introduces a broad spectrum of environmental science topics including: biogeochemical cycling, hydrogeomorphology, biological diversity, food production, energy use, water supply, human population growth, and societies’ aggregate impacts upon the environment. Current environmental issues such as loss of biological diversity, global climate change, ecosystem services, overharvesting, ecological fragmentation, environmental justice, and natural resource management will be discussed.
