SPAN 498 - Service Learning Or Internship Capstone In Spanish
Units:3 One hour lecture and two hours field study per week Prerequisite: Senior standing as a Spanish major or consent of instructor. Consent of Instructor Required for Enrollment. Description: Students will participate in supervised community-based service with an agency or organization needing bilingual speakers, writers and/or translators. Communicative skills, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility will be emphasized. Students are required to write a report of their experience Graded:Letter Grade GenEd:Language
