BIOL 305 - Biology of Aging Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite: BIOL 211 Current understanding of biological basis of human aging and senescence processes, including systemic, cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the transition from health to senescence, evolutionary and comparative aspects of aging, measurement of aging, and the consequences of normal aging processes on various human systems. No credit given toward the Biology major.
