Students who have completed a similar Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or Associate of Science for Transfer (AS-T) Degree at a California Community College (CCC) are eligible to graduate in 60 units. The exact pathway to complete the major will depend on the specific AA-T or AS-T curriculum of the CCC students attended and earned their degrees from. To meet this goal, students should review the applicable Academic Roadmap. After applying to and being admitted to CI, students should review their CI Academic Requirements Report (or CARR) and Degree Planner, and may contact Academic Advising and/or a faculty advisor for assistance with following the Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC).

Students should be aware that if they elect to change majors or add an additional degree objective, such as an option, minor, or second major, they will likely exceed the 60-unit guarantee. If they choose to do this, students may seek help from an academic advisor regarding planning how to incorporate any additional required units/courses.
