Special Grade Requirements
A grade of C- or better is required in all prerequisites courses in the major Lower Division Requirements - 17 units
Select one of the following:
2. Two semesters of a Laboratory science: Physics, Chemistry, or Biology 8 units
3. First course in programming 3 units
4. First course in Computer Architecture and Assembly Language 3 units
Note:
Appropriate community college courses may meet these requirements. Upper Division Electives - 18 units
Choose 18 units from the following:
Technology Electives - 9 units

To graduate, students must complete 120 units minimum (40 units must be upper division) including all General Education (GE) and Graduation Requirements . The following areas must be included:
- Additional lower division A-E GE requirements not met within major
- Nine units of Upper Division Interdisciplinary GE (UDIGE) courses, numbered 330-349 or 430-449. Six units may be within major, three units must be outside major (C or better grades)
- Multicultural Requirement (C or better grade)
- Language Requirement (C or better grade)
- American Institutions Requirement
- Free electives as needed to meet minimum units for graduation
