FIN 414 - Derivatives and International Finance

Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite(s): FIN 300  
This course will cover the derivatives and foreign exchange markets, encompassing the forward/futures securities, option strategies, the valuation of forwards and options; forex risk management; and international parity theories and implications for the forex markets. Course will culminate in the discussion of the use of derivatives in the foreign exchange markets, such as the currency forwards and futures, for the purpose of risk management.
