MUS 264 - Aural Skills and Musicianship II Units: 2 One hour lecture and two hours activity per week Prerequisite(s): MUS 162 and MUS 163 , both with grade of C- or better Recommended: MUS 162 and MUS 163 , both with grade of B or better within the past two semesters Applies theory to practice through the intermediate study of chordal recognition; diatonic intervals; melodic patterns; rhythmic and melodic dictation; and movable “do” solfege sight singing. Includes performing basic diatonic chord progressions on keyboard. Effective fall 2022, changed from PAMU 362. Repeat 2 times up to 4 units Graded: Letter Grade
