SOC 327 - Qualitative Approaches to Social Research Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SOC 321 Examines the epistemological evolution and empirical application of qualitative research methods. These methods include: interviews, observation, ethnography, focus groups, content analysis, participatory action research, evaluation research, and mixed methods. Students will analyze exemplar works, and practice data collection and analysis techniques, with an emphasis on positionality. Graded: Letter Grade
