PAMU 163 - Aural Skills and Musicianship I

Units: 2
One hour lecture and two hours activity per week
Prerequisite(s): PAMU 161  with grade of C- or better
Recommended: PAMU 161  with grade of B or better within the past two semesters
Applies theory to practice through sight singing and prepared melodies; rhythm and prepared meter; ear training and dictation; and keyboard skills. Includes performing scales, modes, triads, and seventh chords on keyboard. Effective fall 2022, changed from PAMU 262. Repeat 2 times up to 4 units
