SPED 592 - Advanced Student Teaching Education Specialist

Units: 6
Variable number of hours field study per week. Equivalent to a minimum of 8 weeks of student teaching
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Education Specialist Teaching Credential program
The second part of a two-part field experience series that provides students with the opportunity to gradually assume the responsibilities of a special education teacher in a public school, including: teaching; assessing students; IEP development; and collaborating with parents, teachers, and special services personnel.
