ART 360 - Digital Art History Units: 3 Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing; and ART 110 or ART 111 or ART 112 or ART 300 or Consent of Instructor A critical examination of the state of digital art historical projects and research resources. Analyzes a wide range of current international digital research projects, including 3-D reconstructions, virtual environments, hybrid and e-publishing, museum websites, blogs, and social media, and discloses the way in which digital models of interactivity, connectivity, and distribution can be used as tools and methods for research as well as to create art historical texts and scholarship.
