ENGL 315 - Introduction to Language, Structure and Linguistics Units: 3 Three hours lecture/discussion per week Prerequisite(s): ENGL 105 or equivalent An examination of the basic components of human language, including phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics, and the differences/ similarities among languages. Students will identify examples of speech parts and their functions, morphologies, and syntax.
