ENGL 360 - Literary Theory
Units: 3
Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 105 or equivalent and one upper division literature course
Introduces foundational theories currently influencing literary, social studies, and cultural analysis and criticism. Specific schools of theoretical inquiry include structuralist, materialist, psychoanalytic, deconstructive, feminist, gender, queer, postcolonial, critical race, reader response, and cultural studies.
