Commendation for CSUCI Associated Students

for Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

WHEREAS,    The Associated Students of California State University Channel Islands have organized a series of fund-raising events to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina including the “Dollar-A-Day for 20 Days” campaign which runs through Saturday, October 29, a campus Walk-A-Thon to be held on Saturday, September 24, and a Campus Carnival to be held on Saturday, October 8; therefore be it

RESOLVED:  That the CSUCI Academic Senate express its pride in our students for their timely and generous efforts to come to the assistance of the beleaguered citizens of the Gulf Coast; and be it further

RESOLVED: That the CSUCI Academic Senate support and endorse these efforts.
