Purpose: To establish policy on the number of units that may be granted for a thesis or project.

Background: Title 5 requirement: (C) Not more than six semester units shall be allowed for a thesis or project.

Applicability: All CSUCI master’s degree students

Policy:
No more than six units of course credit may be offered for a thesis or project to fulfill the
requirements of a graduate degree.
