ART 300 - Art History: Tools And Methods Units: 3 Three hours seminar per week Prerequisite(s): Two prior art history courses and declared major or minor in Art program; or Consent of Instructor A writing-intensive introduction to the history, methods, resources, and analytical processes of art history, presented through case studies selected from a variety of cultures and time periods and culminating in a significant research project. Required of all art history majors. Offered fall semesters only; should be taken at the start of upper-division coursework. Students must earn a C- or better to fulfill the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR). Effective Fall 2015, changed from ART 200. Graded: Letter Grade
