BIOL 100 - Exploring the Living World

Units: 4
Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week
An overview of biology from the molecular to the ecosystem level. Topics include: the origin, diversity, and evolution of life; ecology of populations and communities; the structure and function of plant and animal organ systems; biological molecules; cellular structure/function; genetics and cell division. No credit given toward the Biology major.
