ART 535 - Theory of Media Arts and Design

Three hours seminar per week
Prerequisite: Admission to the DIAMND program or Consent of Instructor
Provides a foundation for understanding design theory and design thinking as approaches to problem solving. Offers strategies, techniques, and a forum for investigating innovative uses of design to predict and uncover new concepts about human interactions and aesthetic experiences. Projects are primarily conceptual, with emphasis placed on developing presentation techniques, building mock-ups, and answering future challenges through design.
