NRS 230 - Nursing Care of Mothers, Infants, and Women Units: 2 Two hours lecture per week Prerequisite: NRS 200 , NRS 201 , NRS 203 , and PSY 213 Corequisite: NRS 231 Presents nursing concepts and theory related to health care of the mother newborn infant the family and women’s health care. Focuses on the care of families during childbearing years and includes both normal, high-risk conditions, and acute illness. Emphasizes health promotion, growth and development, and application of the Neuman Systems Model and the nursing process to promote adaptation.
