Students considering a Multiple Subject or Special Education credential are strongly urged to complete the following courses. These courses in conjunction with other program requirements provide the subject matter background knowledge tested on the CSET-Multiple Subjects examination.
Additional Lower Division A-E (GE) Requirements not met within the major; MATH 207 recommended to meet GE Area B3 for students not pursuing a Multiple Subject or Special Education Credential. MATH 207 will be more focused on mathematical concepts relevant to teaching young learners.
Nine units of Upper Division Interdisciplinary GE (UDIGE), courses are numbered 330-349 and 430-449. Six units may be within the major, 3 units must be outside the major (C or better grade)
