EDML 563 - Primary Language Schooling in the US, Grades K-12 I

Units: 3
Three hours lecture per week
Prerequisite: Admission to the Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Educational Specialist Credential Program with Bilingual Authorization OR holds a California teaching credential.

The nature of language and literacy teaching and learning in the language of emphasis. Skills related to instruction in two languages. Effective use of primary language, literacy and related curricular materials.
